Thank you for your interest in joining HomeFrog.ca, the national network of real estate agents providing real estate services to internet-savvy customers who want to do the initial part of the home search process on their own and be rewarded with a rebate.

Our leads are geared towards finding serious, qualified buyers and sellers. They are first qualified through a series of detailed questions so that you will gain a clear understanding of their preferences and motivations to buy or sell. Further on in the process, they will be advised to obtain pre-approved financing and will be aware of and ready to sign a Buyer Agency agreement.

The system is designed to minimize the time spent by agents driving buyers around and maximize value to the customer by sharing a portion of your commission with them. While the commission per deal will be less, the effort required to close deals will be also be less as you will be dealing only with buyers who are ready, willing and able to buy.

Membership in the HomeFrog.ca network is free and there is absolutely no obligation. Our fee of $350 per transaction is deducted from the referral commission we receive. After this initial transaction, the client is yours to maintain for life and we don’t get involved in future transactions unless requested by a customer.

Terms and Conditions

1. HomeFrog.ca will, from time to time at its own discretion and without obligation, refer you buyers and sellers. You shall provide your best efforts to consummate real estate transactions for these customers.
2. You are not obligated to accept any leads provided by HomeFrog.ca however if you do you will be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
3. You must have a minimum of 3 years experience with at least 15 transactions completed.
4. You are authorized by your broker to participate in the HomeFrog.ca rebate program and to offer a minimum 25% referral fee to Maybank Real Estate Ltd. before any internal splits you may have.
5. You must fax us a copy of the listing agreement within 3 days of signing with the customer.
6. When the agreement of purchase and sale is firm you must fax a copy of same within 3 days.
7. You shall notify us within 3 days of a transaction’s closing to arrange for payment of the referral fee.
8. Within 14 days of the closing of a transaction, you must remit the referral fee to Maybank Real Estate Ltd.
9. Agent represents and warrants that the   Buyer Agency Agreement used with clients/customers referred through HomeFrog.ca will contain a clause allowing the client/customer to unilaterally cancel the Buyer Agency Agreement at any time, for any reason, at no cost to the customer/client, provided that such cancellation notice is given in writing.
10. This agreement may be terminated in writing by either party, by email or by first class mail to the other party’s business address. The agreement shall apply to any real estate transaction placed under contract while it is in effect even if the agreement is terminated.
11. This agreement may be modified and you will be notified in writing of any modifications. Upon receipt of the new terms and conditions you agree to abide by them unless you terminate the agreement in writing as provided above. Notice by email maybe sent to info@homefrog.ca.
